I thought he was in Baywatch wasn't he? Edit - or was that the Andy Williams show? 😉 ...Merely Hibernation..? No, he was a lesser-known English B-movie actor. Worked with Burton Coggles and Boothby Pagnell back in the day......

...we've been here before. Of course they're not!
Boothby Pagnell is best known for the title role in "The Great Gonerby".

You need to sit down and do some honest maths, private cars are not so cheap to run these days.
I've had my Focus for two-and-a-half years now, it's cost over 10k/year when everything is included. I don't see the point of excluding depreciation or this or that or the other, they all have to be paid for.
My own conclusion is the cheapest car to run is the one you currently own out right. My Volvo by comparison has had two new sets of tyres (Summer and Winter), full service all belts, fluids, everything including a new battery. If I write-off the cost of buying it six years ago into a monthly amount and factor that in, it still cost just over 3k for the year.
And I only do a fraction of your annual mileage Humph @ 10,000 miles in each car.
Hello everyone again by the way.

Yes, still in Germany. Still picking out the bits of crank and balancer shafts from my undercarriage too but that's a story for another RS thread.

Near Cambridge I think. Has a Norman church with a wonky spire. Knew a chap at Eton called Norman Church. He had a wonky spire too, if you get my meaning.
