Bit close to that fence. Hope the YTS kid doesn't put it in reverse by accident.

Lucky you have that dog cage because those seats would not stay clean with a dog in the back Nice car - let us know when you get your first speeding ticket... it will be so tempting to floor that thing on occasions

Let us know when you get your first speeding ticket... it will be so tempting to floor that thing on occasions Flooring it is not the hazard; (thinking you're) driving normally is. Even the 530 usually turns out to be travelling 10mph faster than you think. More like 15 in the 540. Beautiful machine, Sven. But 'she'? Really?

Now seriously, you have to admit, that is a gorgeous colour, and it suits the car perfectly, The tinted rear windows are not too dark, blend perfectly with the general colour. I was a tad nervous, hadnt seen one of that colour in the flesh, and it reproduced poorly in most media.

Jealous.. Enjoy.
I was inspecting a unit yesterday occupied by a BMW indy specialist. He took in a 2013 650i with only 12,000 miles with a warning light. The diagnosis was an air leak giving too lean a mixture. Probably caused by not being driven enough and a rodent getting at a pipe. All I can say is.. "Cor! What a noise!" Just sublime.
If yours sounds anything like it, you'll lose you Licence in no time...

Annoyingly BMW dictate what the engine sounds like using a sound profile played through the system speakers. Even to the extent of when you select "sport" they change the noise.
The forums are full of tweaks to disable it.

Now seriously, you have to admit, that is a gorgeous colour, and it suits the car perfectly. Certainly warmer than silver or grey, and anything's preferable to black or (on big cars) white. But I saw one today in Mediterranean Blue with either Ivory or Canberra inside and - in the sunshine - it looked spectacular. That was my choice for the 530 I nearly bought - and will be again when it's time to replace the CLS.

Only thing is, and it may just be the light when you took the photos of course, but the erm, well, the sunroof...sort of missing it seems? Surely there has been some error? You'd think anyway.
Blimey, bummer really. Ha'porth of tar and all that.

Ha'porth of tar and all that. 🙁 Yes, an annoying little thing can really spoil a fine car. A sunroof, for example - or a mate who won't stop banging on about them.🙊 Blacked-out glass too - although I know in this case that it's just Sven's compensation for the Securicor dog van he really wanted.

Ach look, it's really nice otherwise. Surprisingly elegant on those small wheels too... 😉
