...had a CRV as my last company car (was it that long ago?). Faultless (apart from a completely undiagnosable slight interference on the radio), and adequate but almost completely soulless. ......and flat or metallic red don't suit tit (IMHO). |

Can't imagine that the 2-litre Honda will be a ball of fire either? Then again, no PHEV batteries to lug around.
Expected mpg's? Maybe low 30's? Great for the planet..!

Anyway, it'll be rubbish for collecting kebabs because nobody will let you pull out of side roads so the kebab will be cold before you get back.
Mind you, I could come with you, I don't mind being seen in an SUV.

One thing my missus notices immediately (perhaps the only thing) is whether the interior/rooflining is light coloured - I expect Mrs Al likes the interior of the red one for a similar reason. The paintwork on the red one looks like it has been buffed with KY jelly or Soulglo - it's meant to be a metallic red like this one: uk.motor1.com/reviews/140692/2017-honda-cr-v-review/2.0 iVTEC chucks out 155bhp of underwhelming ferocity but revs sweetly to 6700rpm if required. 28-30mpg was typical for our '05-plate 4-speed auto with the earlier 150bhp engine so expect maybe a couple more Ms per G from the red 'un considering it has a 5-speed TC auto and a tad better aerodynamics. Almost identical dimensions to the Outlander/XC60 etc. |

Outlander is a 7 seater - or some variants are. (Not the PHEV though). Is the Honda a 7-seater?

I'm lost. You show us 12-year-old bangers and nearly-news priced at more than I paid for my CLS; diesels, petrols, SUVs... All we need to complete the set are a space shuttle and a horse and cart.
