I’ve heard the same logic applied to wives. ðŸ¤

Talking about Clios....
Has anyone seen the new Clio advert? It's gone from the flirtatious affairs of Papa and Nicole, to two young girls growing up and eventually having a same sex relationship. Not sure that would get me to buy a Clio

No I haven't seen it, but it'd probably appeal to my 22 year old niece and her girlfriend, and their generation in general. They are probably more the target of Clio advertising than you or I.

I've always kind of liked Clios. Never owned one though. I had a Clio estate as a renter in Poland last year. Don't think we got that model option on that version here. Anyway, it had that 1.5 Renault Diesel engine and a manual box. Drove it all over Poland on a business trip for a few days. Became quite fond of it. Nice dark red metallic colour which suited it somehow. Bit tardy on long motorway uphill sections if you wanted to pass a truck or something, but I think the speed limit there is 140kph, so other traffic is often moving quite quickly towards one's jacksie if you stray out of the loser lanes for too long in a not very fast car.

Anyway, have you test driven this ruddy car yet Al? Can we have a puff of white smoke or equivalent signal?
Or if you're doing it tonight don't let any abnormally oversized plutocrats in CLSs intimidate you while you are... 😉

I shall be on the road in it in about an hour. I'll look out for lounge lizard conveyances with private plates of course.

Went to Reading twice in two days; don't feel the need for a third visit just yet.

It'll be after dark too, I've never been to Reading but it doesn't sound like somewhere you'd willingly go after sunset. Went to Slough a few times so I'm guessing it might be a bit like that?

I wondered if it might be more about the efficacy of the locking wheel nuts? 😉
