Yes we are aware of this. We need to ask them to become full time first.

Indirect discrimination is a possibility too if you cull part timers; more likely to be women/older/care responsibility etc etc.

Wasn't really worth starting a new thread for something so trivial, but it occurred to me that today was the first time I've been able to take advantage of the significant reduction in fuel prices. Filled the Merc up for the first time since the end of March. Wasn't even empty, but I just thought I'd top it off as it had got down to about a 1/4 tank. Didn't even come to £50.
Given that I'm more used to filling it 2 or 3 times a week and it costing £60+ for a similar scoosh it seems a bit surreal.
Went to Sainsburys as well, £20 for a litre of Bombay gin ( the white bottle not the "posh" blue stuff ) but nevertheless, it would have seemed rude to turn that down.
Isn't chicken expensive? Don't think I knew that.
Carry on. 😉

Had my car down to pretty much reserve level by Sunday afternoon and the fill was well under £75 even at a Shell station. Would have been under £70 at SainsMorrisCo..
Just a pity I'm not doing more mileage - I might even make a profit ...

....almost wish I had the 120 litre tank, like the last 'van.

Just buy some extra and add it to the Brexit stockpile in the garage.

I was looking on the drive the deal site yesterday. I was surprised how ,erm, affordable those E220d estates are. Less than GBP30k new, the same price as a CLA Shooting Brake. Have they recently changed the model, I thought it wasn't long since the last update ?

I was surprised how JLR models were accessible to me on the company car scheme. I think it's all because things are not selling. And BIK is not much worse than more modest models with similar engines because you're basically screwed if you don't have a PHEV. :-)
Although MB E class on the list - not so many for me. But my allowance was good when I got it last increased but the monetary value has not gone up in more than a decade. But I don't want to buy or lease at the moment - still have the dream of buying the place in Greece sooner rather than later.
I've managed to use a tank of petrol (nearly) in the last 4 weeks so need to fill up tomorrow probably when I'm at the Tesco Extra. It's now gone up 3p per litre since I last filled up :-) But 99.9p was cheap. I've not had the light come on and car says range is 85 miles so I am guessing about £60. If it's more than £70 there is something wrong because the tank is 66 litres.

It isn't worth looking at used or pre-reg is it. But I know of good lease deals that colleagues had. The one that had a Tiguan SE L for £250 went for an R Line to replace it but it was aboutt £350pm. But no high initial payment, it's basically 2+23.

The downside for me was the black headlining and no sunroof. That would be just too gloomy for me to consider regardless of the price.

The S60 deals will be because Volvo has changed the specs recently including engine options. The models DTD have no longer exist. The B5 has replaced the T5 with mild hybrid. There is no R-Design Plus. There are no diesels either and oddly no B4 option either.
