I have actually agreed to take my wife and her friend to Heathrow in a couple of weeks. Indeed it will be the ideal tool for that job!

If your pension won’t stretch to half an hour’s parking, you can drop them off near (but not at — predatory cameras and wardens pounce if you even stop outside) Hayes & Harlington station, where they can get the Liz to Heathrow.

I think I paid £8 at T2 short term last time round — Jan 2023, I think. Not worth outlandish manoeuvres to dodge, and I was picking up, which takes longer than dropping off.

T3 Short stay:
Duration On the day (Effective 3 January 2024)
0 - 29 minutes £7.50
30 - 44 minutes £11.00
45 - 59 minutes £13.50

For pick ups, I tend to go to a layby on the A4 Colnbrook bypass maps.app.goo.gl/P3GTT8VYgsz9Vvf87 and wait until I can see that bags from the flight are in the baggage hall online, then head into the airport. |
