...odd really; the last time I saw a lobster (well several really) was last Monday, in Sheffield, on Division Street. .....not floating, though. Probably on their way back to Uni halls of residence after a night on the town. Is the parrot still in the bar at the Frog and Parrot? Last time I was there, many years ago, his alcohol intake was being restricted because he was falling off his perch and getting aggressive.

You can tell when a crab has had too much alcohol. It walks forwards.

Road tax in the UK has been a bit steamy, as some may say on here, since April 2017, I suppose that's payback for all those 'free' years earlier in the decade.
I can tax all three cars here in Germany for less than my Focus would cost to tax in the UK. £855 to tax a Ford Focus 🙄

Classic !
I've always said you can spot when someone's parents have "moved on", new cars, conservatories, fancy holidays etc...

Classic ! I've always said you can spot when someone's parents have "moved on", new cars, conservatories, fancy holidays etc... 😉 Wot was once 'ers, is now mine, and is destined not be my sons...... SKI........ You forgot the New patio and front drive (forced on me by you complaining about the street presence of my abode) AND the forthcoming caravan (and cruise to columbia and panama canal) As it happens the family fortune is only used for capital expenditure, My company pension, youtube revenue, low tax, nil NI, no mortgage covers day to day life, inc the excessive thirst and road tax of the beast. And I have the state pension to kick in at the end of this year
