It’ll be interesting to hear what the sat nav wifey calls it when I get nearer. She’s German. If you've not been careful with the postcode, she'll call it Sheffield... 🌊

Wouldn't want to be Joan Crawford under such circumstances.

A quick google says you're right. Could have sworn it was Joan Crawford.
I expect I was very, very drunk.

Was she famous for her lobsters?
Edit- it’s ok, I’ve just googled it too...

I haven’t had a crab for a long while. Used to be a fairly regular thing when I was younger. You could catch them off the end of piers if you had a bit of bacon and a piece of string.

Anyway, I went to Shrewsbury. During my time there, I asked for advice on the Shroo / Shrow thing. Nearly caused a fight in truth. One woman though tried to win the argument by claiming it used to be spelled “Shroesbury” and therefore should definitely and absolutely be pronounced “Shrow”. She got a bit flustered when I asked how she pronounced word “shoe” then...
What I have learned is that it splits the town.

Not with all those Italian lobsters on the loose.... ... floating about.... According to Emergency Services the lobsters were rescued safely but cold and dirty. They are being given a warm bath back at the station.

...odd really; the last time I saw a lobster (well several really) was last Monday, in Sheffield, on Division Street.
.....not floating, though.
