Just finished MOTD. Not an inspiring week, though Fulham scored ALL three goals. And still lost..... (fixed that for you!) Was expecting Liverpool to do better than a 1-0 win over Brighton, with the only goal a penalty. Still, that's how you win titles. Today's match of ManU v Spurs should be interesting. Ole's first real test... We have Wolves tomorrow which will also be a stern test. We have to win very game now and hope Liverpool trip up...

That one small thing is simply an improvement in defensive performances. One or two new, experienced faces in the defence are needed, so we've signed an ancient winger from a Turkish club...

Exciting game at Blackburn last - shame they lost. City managed a better performance against Wolves than Liverpool managed against Brighton. Game on! Will Liverpool blink???

Interesting weekend in the FA Cup and an interesting list of 5th round matches.
Will City beat Giant Killers Newport in south Wales...

Some interesting fixtures upcoming and surprises no doubt for some Premiership and Championship teams. But that's what makes the FA Cup great.
I thought it quite funny when the Millwall ground were showing the second goal on the big screen to the annoyance of their manager. He was not happy. It showed the hand ball incident meaning the goal should have been disallowed. Glad they won it in the end though.

The Barnet Brentford match was exciting for all the right reasons. Huge difference in league position yet a 3-3 draw. In the meantime ManCity appear to have lost a spiritual advisor.... These Jews get everywhere....

No. Newcastle always defend well against big clubs and we dropped off our usual pace. Didn't quite understand the penalty, as Fernandinho turned with the ball into the unsighted player. Ah well, it's only a game

Bloody typical, Fulham put on the performance of their season and City go and lose to a relegation rival. United didn't help much either. Guaranteed both Manc clubs will stuff us out of sight of course.

As a long standing Bitter Blue, this is typical of City.
The last few years are simply an aberration....

Well a roller coaster of a couple of weeks, but after the 6-0 battering of Chelsea yesterday I feel more confident. We have to meet them again at Wembley in the final of the Carabao League Cup on 24th Feb. So I bought three tickets for the boys and me. Son #1 sends me a message... "Errr Dad, I can't go. It's the something or other Student Society Annual Ball that night..". Bloody hell... children.

Sharing a stadium with thousands of those knuckle draggers is quite a chore. Rather you than me. 7-0 this time I hope.

Was at Wembley yesterday to witness Sarri trying to save his skin by parking the bus and being undone by his 'revolting' goalkeeper, ironically called Kepa.
Yes we won the League Cup but it was not the spectacle we hoped for and it was a long and late drive home.

Absolutley hilarious watching Walham Green Dog Track FC implode. The keeper's faceplant after the Aguero penalty is absolute comedy gold.
I shall be laughing for months. Almost as gratifying as the time John Terry fell on his aris in Moscow.
