I sold the PPoS. Yay!! Unbelievable, palmed it off on some poor fool who actually paid for it and lives miles away, so a result.
Feeling all pleased with myself. Sat at dinner and declared "Since I've finally sold it, let's consider what to buy next!".
"No need", came the reply, "I saw a Nissan Murano I liked this afternoon so I bought that, it's a lovely colour."
FFS.

p.s. and it's not a lovely colour. It's brown. Sort of light, shitty brown.

Your wife goes and does that? You let her just....buy a car without consultation, negotiation, threat of divorce or financial analysis???
You're letting the side down, Boy.
PS. It was a lovely looking car; in about 2004.

A friend had one, he sold it on fairly quickly...cvt gearbox problems on his I think. But, at least if it does break, it's not going to be your fault this time. Or maybe it will anyway? 😉

No, I'm in far more danger of a lot of "I told you so" if it does last a year without major issue.
I do like the idea of "letting" my Wife. She is not the sort of person one "lets" do things.

This is it, and also as close as I have been to it. And with a bit of luck as close as I will ever get to it. .
Apparently it's bound to be a good buy because the salesman was really nice and made her a coffee.
[sigh]

If there is a Facelifted model it damn well better be one. I have no idea how much she paid for it, I haven't quite been able to bring myself to ask or look, but I'm fairly sure I'm not going to be happy about it.
I struggle to get passed it being brown. Also, what's it for? It most certainly is not something that'll be coming into the mountains with me. Seems a bit extravagant for shopping.

Is the bonnet open for effect — or have you already given Vić a go in it?

It makes you wonder what the logic could have been behind inventing a colour like that - a sort of combination of pink, brown and beige with the worst features of all three.
The Murano looks a lot like the current X-Trail; I'm not sure what the difference was. Maybe not a lot, which could be why the Murano isn't sold here any more. Or if 'X-Trail' means even less in Chile than it does here, they could be one and the same and called Murano.

What would you have bought, Otto? Presumably you wanted an SUV/4x4, but non-soft roader/PPoS type. Interested in what's actually available which isn't plastic these days. Can't think of much outside of pick ups.
