Seems safe to say the mood of the room is against this.
If you did want to use one of these, what would it cost to rent one for a weekend? That would at least save the neighbours from having to look at it between dog shows.

Seems safe to say the mood of the room is against this. Hold on there. Only the Ohms law Jihadists are firmly against it. Humph, the ultimate caravan hater is wavering. I am working on converting him, leading him to the river for his baptism if you will. In truth I don't have the room for it on my frontage, if I did my recent car choice would have been vastly different.

Trouble is, I do have room for it, and I could see it getting used too. But it's not happening. Nope, no way. Not going to think about it anymore. 😬

The reality of being able to park a caravan almost anywhere and go off an pursue your pastime is somewhat different to the rose-coloured advertising hype.....
A motorhome motorcaravan campervan, however.......

All joking aside, the reality is that most mountain biking venues are, by default, usually on the side of mountains, as are their car parks. Quite a lot of them would have very few flat level surfaces to park one of these on.
There, that's better, I'm ok now... 😬

Next you'll be telling me my car journeys won't all be through the twilight along an empty, sinuous coast road, to be greeted at a beach house with improbably large windows by a blonde with improbably large...

My neighbours, both next door and opposite, persistently leave their three wheely bins on their driveways, in full view of my dining room. Next door just keep them there always, opposite put them out on a Wednesday for collection on Mondays/Tuesdays. This is despite both properties being detached and having side access to the rear, where there is ample storage for such items, away from the view of their own living and dining rooms to boot.
If either of them ever got a caravan and left it there you would see the smoke and hear the explosion from very, very far away when my head exploded.
Actually, they've both also got small boats, next door have one on a trailer which is half tucked down the other side of the house so I can't see it from my windows (neither of their cars have a tow bar, and it never goes anywhere, I think they must've won it on Bullseye 25 years ago and can't bear to part with it), the other is left upside down on a patch of front lawn opposite me.
Ever seen the film Falling Down? It's going to happen here one day.

Could be that you're on to something there T&E. After all, the CLS Shooting Brake is more or less, an E Class estate in drag. Maybe that's the target demographic? An estate car for the gender confused? Very 21st century approach to marketing if it is, Mercedes are to be applauded, if indeed that was their intention. Very inclusive... 🤔

Yeah maybe, lovely car mind you, but a brave choice, especially in the South you'd have thought. You know what it's like there...all sorts floating about there aren't there? Slip on shoes and everything. Odd place.
