I like the Vignale Mondeo. But I wouldn't buy one with my own money because it's value will drop like a heavy thing falling off a high thing.
Have fun, try them all...

The bloke says, apparently, as he couldn't give a rats bottom about saving the planet for the likes of Trump, and running costs are not an issue, then a hybrid solution would be considered purely on its own drivability merits.

Ah. Do they not make non-AMG E Class petrols any more then? Was the E250 CGI the last one? The newest one of those on Autotrader is 2013.
Neighbour of mine has an E300 Blueteeth Hybrogubbins one, had always assumed petrol-electric as it's ever so shushy quiet. Every day being a school day and all that.

The four cylinder 2.1 is remarkably smooth and quiet. Torquey thing too. Makes you wonder why folk bother with the thirsty, old fashioned sixes...😉

Yes deliberately, you know I heard a rumour, might be nonsense of course, but I've heard it alleged that the 6 cylinder engine block is so heavy it can cause the whole car to lean over to one side...

The four cylinder 2.1 is remarkably smooth and quiet. Er, no it isn't. But it is extremely well installed - or it is in the E, anyway. The same thing in a C or a Sprinter is revealed in all its rattly, grumbly glory.

Bloody clever trick for a car's engine to do that to the rear suspension Humph, unless it's a Skoda Estelle with a 3.2l 6-cyl diesel. Now there's a thought......

Probably best avoid the BMW option NB, I mean I don't think they necessarily actually automatically turn you into a...well, you know how it is...but there's always the risk that people will tend to think you are...
And you'd always be wishing you'd gone for a Merc.
