Took a look at that website for Volvo wheels and came over all Yorkshire. 'ow much ?
Add on tyres and you're looking at close to main dealer prices. Maybe wait for a black Friday sale or have a look on the MBOC website.

Followed an Audi RS3 down the M20, making good progress. Arrived in Reading 40 minutes ahead of the time SatNav reckoned.
I couldn't live in the SE. Too many SUVs piloted by rather heavy looking blonde wimin' oblivious to what's going on around them. Only need two lane motorways in the SE, inside lane for HGVs, outside lane for everything else, blanket 50mph limit, as seen on the Surrey section of the M25, would promote EV take-up and release extra land for housing development. That would also relieve port pressure on Dover, levelling up the rest of the country with port traffic moved to East Anglia, Humberside and Tyne & Wear. With more traffic and bigger ships the price would come down through those ports leaving the SE with Dover and increasing the costs there with lower demand. Everyone's a winner. If polluter pays then it makes sense to put them all on one vehicle further north than them all trundling through the SE.

Manchester to Alloa and then Alloa to 'Embra' and then back to Manchester. 530 miles with the first 75 miles done the evening before, and the remainder yesterday. Charging facilities are better than they were in August 2023 (and they were good then). Gridserve have now got their act together with an app and 'up to' 350kW charging.
Parked up at the Gyle shopping centre and took the tram into the city centre for a mooch about. Lovely sunshine for a wander around the New Town. The weather really turned as we got into England and the drive home from about Shap was very tiring. Pity really as the motorways are so less trafficked making the journey usually very relaxing.

Once you are past the M55 turn off (to Blackpool) the driving is lovely. Just beware the traffic on your return. If it is a weekend at 'home time' the M6 can grind to halt approaching the M55.

I always say to the family I need to be past Preston by lunchtime. So 7am departure from home is the usual form. When I'm going to the east of Scotland it's the A1(M) and A68 these days.
In fact, I might go M40, A46, M69, M1, M18, A1(M) then A66 for a change this time. I absolutely hate the M6 section between the M56 and Preston, and the M42 round Birmingham is also utterly unbearable.
EDIT: actually I hate the whole part of the M6 from the Toll to Preston.

I can understand that..
Apart from going near to Humph, in reality you are driving through the industrial heartland of England. From Birmingham to Preston and anywhere abotu 20 miles either side is where the wealth of the nation was made and a huge number of people live there still, even though most of those areas are no longer industrial. Hence very busy motorways.
If only HS2 went past Birmingham, it would have released a huge amount of passenger traffic off the old West Coast Main Line and enabled the removal of thousands of HGVs off the roads. So short sighted. Germany builds railways at one third of the cost - how do they do it?

Being a bigger (wider) country with more land to build railway infrastructure on from where you want it to go from to where it is needed. The UK mainland is a bit narrow and already as you say has a lot of home and industry 20 miles either side of the M6 and the railroads.

Look for the unseen hand of the oil lobby, which had nothing to gain from goods and people being transported on trains powered by renewable electricity. Anyway, went to Cambridge this weekend, partly on baggage-wagon duty and partly as a Significant Moment first parental visit to Boy1 as a householder. Easy enough trip — although the first time in the dark on Friday evening. The A505 goes suddenly from being smooth and well painted to having no visible markings at all. This on an undulating section of old single carriageway that’s been upgraded, like the A45 near Rugby, by having an entirely separate second carriageway added, and I can’t quite see how it merits a 70 limit. (Many users tacitly wonder that too, as you them braking from 70 to 60 for the speed cameras.)
