I have restored my sense of virtue and self-righteousness by doing the school run in the Leaf this morning.  I could improve on that by putting the cost centre in question on a bus, or buying her a £5,000 bicycle, I suppose.

Was disappointed to note that there isn't a little orange light in the door mirrors for notifying the driver of vehicles in the blind spot. For some reason I'd assumed there would be one. I like them. Maybe there's a setting I need to switch on or something, I'll RTFM later.

The iX has that and I like it. Only reservation is that it’s disabled when the towbar is deployed, but there’s nothing in the mirror to indicate that. Bit of an odd complaint, given that I’ve driven happily and safely for decades without it, but if the system is inviting me to rely on it, even partially, then it should tell me when it’s not available and I’m entirely on visual flight rules. A hollow orange triangle would be enough.

Yeah it's not got any cameras, mine, but it does have Park Assist, showing a view of the car and its path as you reverse, and beeping about objects. So I was suprised not to see the little orange light in the mirror. The car has come direct from Skoda management, so maybe it was plain SE spec out of the factory without any extras.
