You know him too? Does he work near you? 😉 He's cloned himself far too many times. Hang on... isn't Dubya in IT? I think we need a photo...

Browsing a few other Superbs, and I'm not sure I want the built in satnav now. It seems to have been written by Hermann Goering: Also, Mr Main Skoda Dealer, fix the tyre before photographing it:

I bought an E Class with 100k miles on it once before... Barely run in that. Granted the ones made in the late nineties and very early noughties were a bit dodgy sometimes, but the more recent ones are much more robust. Still, if you’d rather have a Schkoda saloon with a 1.5 engine and a gearbox made of cheese… 😉

It looks like someone's been down the side of the car with a hammer would bother me more than the tyre.

It's just reflections, gents. Get thee down Specsavers. Someone needs to teach you the difference between a hatch and a saloon, Humph

Neither should be countenanced by the discerning purchaser.

The Fiat shopping trolley with macho fake-American vanity badges, on the other hand…

Funny thing car selection. Women choose a car they like the look of, they may ask for input in propulsion but choose the final vehicle then proceed to tell their partner what they will not be seen in.
You read it all the time on various forums, I was looking at <type of car> but the wife/gf/... said no so I got an SUV.

Just take a look at the shoes “someone” owns and ask yourself if this person is capable of rational thought… 😉

Neither should be countenanced by the discerning purchaser. I'd have a FIAT Tipo saloon, if I didn't need a bigger boot opening for the dog cage, and if they were available with something more pokey than the 95hp 1.4, and an automatic gearbox. The saloon is the definitive car shape. Honestly no idea why I'd need the estate over the hatch when it comes to Superbs. They are so large and commodious in hatch form it seems unnecessary. I've never seen a Superb estate with any visible load over the window line. I'm not Lovejoy and won't ever need to move a wardrobe.

I wasn't aware there was an immutable and eternal guide. Although, admittedly, certainly most SUVs display dreadfully poor taste. Saloons are hip, Daddy-o.

Ironically, at the time a phrase like that might have been common vernacular, they may have been.
