Yeah until he passes his test....
Pleased with the Uniroyal tyres. It feels like a proper car again. On the first drive home when I bought it I felt like it was going to lose grip a couple of times and the ride felt terribly squishy. Much firmer and more controlled now, and that was in a cataclysmic downpour when I drove it back from the tyre fitter's.

I think what we can see from this premium and EIII's reaction to it, is that this town isn't quite as bad as some people like to portray.

That's one of those unreliable Mercedes E Classes bursting into flames. I'm not surprised.
Fella needs to get himself a nice reliable Honda Civic Tourer.

Daughter, 14 in early January, has declared that it's hideous and an embarrassment and doesn't want to be driven to shool in it.
Tough.
Lad is delighted. I offered to drive them to school in it this morning, but Lad declined to save his sister's blushes. We'll give it a good run over the weekend. Might let him drive it in a quiet car park...

She's also utterly bemused at the majority of her cohort expressing a desire for a FIAT 500 when they get to 17. No interest in that girly shi-ite either. She wants a C4 Cactus. But nothing any more SUV-like than that, bad for the image in these times of climate change. Any colour except DCR. But tells me she'd be equally happy with a Tipo. Well, maybe we can afford one of those in 3 years, but if not the negotiating will have to begin...

If my wife’s car hadn’t been a Jeep, it would have been a Cactus.
