If you're already succesfully using poles, then I'm not sure a stick would be an improvement.
I don't like using two poles, as I like to have a free hand; the stick I use is a Leki one, very much like a pole, but with a handle on the top (better than a single pole for me).
I've used various knee supports, but the neoprene ones are rather too hot and sweaty, so the ones of choice at the moment are Decathlon ones, with a "knit" finish (though I think they have just changed supplier). Sufficient support without being too hot.
TBH I can't complain too much. I exercise much more than most people my age, but all things are relative - I'm used to doing (much) more, without much constraint, and I miss it!

I have only used sticks a couple of times and somewhere around I have a Leki stick, so I will look for that and give it a go. For the next few weeks my Sundays are too busy for walking so I am back in the pool.
Will keep the group updated....
