I had a Triumph Toledo, wasn't that a 1300 engine? and certainly it looked like a Dolomite without the butch bits. here is a vid of a nice toledo

I see: 'styling reminiscent of' the 411/412, but with mechanicals from all over the warehouse. There's something about those groovy rear lights that reminds me of the 450SEL Cozy Powell used to drive when we were neighbours in the 70s. Weren't they supposed to be 'self-cleaning' or some such cleverness? Yes. I recall Car magazine saying the 1970s S-class had 'self cleaning' rear lights. I suspect the shape induced some form of swirl which in wet weather and at a speed, caused the most extreme parts to be free of dirt. Or. Maybe the inset bits simply didn't get dirty??

Seen today on the M3, Peugeot 304 Cabrio on a transporter. Looked in good order as well.
