May not be the same with the S212 but the S211's tailgate star has looked vulnerable all the time we've had ours. The star is a flat casting but it's fixed to a curved part of the tailgate, which means there are gaps top and bottom, waiting for something to snag it. That said, of course, after four-and-a-half years, it's still there. That's so typical. One lives in a house or owns a car which needs attention and yet we only fix it up when we come to sell it, so we don't get the benefit of our purchase.... ooops..... directed at Al's post, not yours WDB! Thing is, I don't see any benefit to having the correct badges on the car, until such time as their absence may detract from a sale by way of putting someone off the car, e.g. they may think it has been accident damaged and repaired. It's neither here nor there to me, and a broken ring detracts nothing from the utility I gain from the car. So the benefit, if there is any, can only accrue to me at time of sale of the car, so I'll keep my 25 squid in the bank till then.

Much cheaper at 99p.

Some of us (sniff) who drive E-class Mercedes manage to keep them in way they were delivered to us...... Danimac Beige? 😉 ...Gannex Grey. And talking of coats, A PARKA? FFS, no self-respecting bloke has ever gone anywhere near a parka since he was about 15 and considering the merits of getting a Vespa or a Lambretta (whilst illegally road-testing his older mates' version of either). Jeez, a parka!

This wasn't just any parka, this was a Timberland parka. I can't ask the likes of you to begin to understand how on trend that is. 😎

You'll be telling us next you still wear jeans.............

I didn't say Italian. Replay is "designer" to me. Rips? Blimey. You do realise you're not 21 any more, right? ;-)
The £15 M&S value jeans I've got on today are brilliant.
