Today, ( I am soooo tired ) I filled the car up with diesel, got back in it, got about 200 yards down the road and decided it might have been a good idea to at least offer to pay for the fuel. Fortunately, the cashier hadn't quite got through to the local cop shop when I got back...

I thought you were going to say the car conked out due to the wrong fuel....

I had a cigarette yesterday. Not smoked in years. But, I was sitting outside a cafe in London with a friend who smokes, with a decent cup of coffee, and he offered me a Marlboro Red when I mentioned that was the brand I used to enjoy.
God it was lovely !
There, I've confessed.
Tenner a pack now, pertinently enough.
Don't think I'll go there...
😕

I love reading and creating Excel spreadsheets.
Quite genuinely, I find it therapeutic and I love it.

Ok may as well get this over with. Yesterday, I was parked for a few hours in a customer's private yard in a seaside town. Thought I'd leave the ( panoramic ) sunroof open to let some fresh air through the car.
Forgot about the sodding seagulls didn't I...😬
Cleaned the driver's seat up as best I could but now going to give it a proper going over. Christ it stinks in there.

1) It was a big tree, probably moving and planted in the wrong place. 2) I was reversing and swinging. Which is more difficult than just swinging. 3) It was late and dark and the tree was camouflaged. 4) [probably irrelevant and inconsequential] I was the other side of several large vodkas.
p.s. [Moving the car from one location on my own property to another place on my own property at a top speed of about 10mph without any contact with public highways to allow someone else to get their car out and leave].

From now on, every time you park up, you'll be desperately wondering whether you should close it...... ....that's the trouble with a paranoiac sun roof...... Some of this might help: tinyurl.com/zj9xqh2(isn't the web wonderful?)

It's ok, Mercedes provide a can of their own brand of that with the car ( really they do ) along with shampoo, polish, some rain guard protector stuff, a sponge, a chamois leather...oh and a tin of Meredes branded sweets when it's serviced. It's a hard life sometimes.
