Yeah. Know what you mean about the Mach E, Dubya. I have surprised myself a bit by quite liking the white one I've seen at the Skoda dealer here. It really shouldn't be anywhere near my alley, let alone trying to wedge itself up there.

BlueCruise seems to be pulling in people who didn't previously consider themselves Ford target audience. Suppose so. But how relaxing is it to be driven hands-free by the computer in a car that rattles your teeth with every blip in the road? Tesla has the the same problem, although you'd hope Ford would have had the engineering pedigree to avoid it.

Only a PHEV, though, innit? (Yes, I get that it's painted green.)

Yeah, but "up to" 42 miles range, that's quite useful. Most days I'd only be using electrickery. Could be tempted (if it were LOADS cheaper), it would pretty much be a "do everything" car for me.

The state of the roads in the UK, you must be looking for an electric hovercraft, WDB.
There were holes in the new Huntingdon A14 bypass and M11 that will soon be swallowing cars whole.

My Merc was champagne (metallic beige) with a light colour interior. An identical model down the road has a wonderful metallic BRG exterior but a coal mine interior. Shame.
My I5 has the light colour interior and it is lovely. I like my metallic olive/mushroom paint but there is a matt silvery/gold that looks good and the green will be wonderful. It wasn't available for my model year.

I saw an I6 in the flesh today. I like the front 75% of the car, but I'm not overly convinced by the rear. Think it looks a little unbalanced and untidy, and I wonder if there is a bit of Emperor's New Clothes in the press guff I have seen. However an estate version would be wonderful.

Maybe the I5 has a competitor from its own stable. This one in particular is in a nice, subtle colour which would blend in very well to any suburban streetscape in, say, a prestigious town in southern Oxfordshire: www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202304266682707Loadsa range.

Maybe the I5 has a competitor from its own stable. Already noted. Might be nice. Probably a bit small.

You expect me to remember posts from a year ago? I'm good, but I'm not that good. I like green.

I like green - not sure I like that green though. It's a bit 'in yer face'. Nice metallic BRG it's not.

Maybe. But so is the Taycan Sport Turismo, and if I’m spending £90,000 I’d rather have a Porsche than a Lotus.
