Here are my sensible thoughts. Is it actually causing an issue? poor handling or ride? Wearing tyres? MOT failure? Or are you just getting your knickers in a twist over nothing?

Well I suppose I'll be able to answer that "sensible" question after it's been to the indie on Friday. In the mean time, it's not unreasonable to be concerned about a visible imperfection which may be related to a safety critical component of the vehicle. If it turns out that there is no identifiable fault, then he answer may well be "live with it", but surely you'd get it looked at first?

If it had none of the outcomes I described, then no I would consider it as an acceptable and natural feature of cheap barge purchasing

I expect you fell the same way about your family, but then again one of them is trying to give you a Volvo.

I'm not not sure he's ready for a proper car...I mean, a saggy corner might be acceptable on a shonky old Lancer, but really, on a gentleman's car??

More than adequate horsepower for the older driver though, one would have thought anyway. 😉

I doubt any one is going to die, limp mode isn't fast enough
