Tried desperately hard not to stroke my beard before hands were cleansed. I now picture you as some weird Bond villain. Say "Good evening Mr Bond, I've been expecting you.". Are you Carl Stronberg ? Do you want to claim your $5??

Well at least you are not cowering in fear Esp. Weird to see the UK getting back to “normal” (for the time being anyway) whilst NZ is still yet to go through the entire rigmarole... Can’t help feeling that it’s coming, as is being played out in Australia at present. The increased rates in the UK appear to be almost entirely caused by football.... Lots of people gathering to attend matches in person or watch the Euros on TV. Surprised by boys didn't catch it (luckily both vaccinated). The numbers are falling quite rapidly now. The July 19th opening up is less likely to cause a similar significant rise simply because that large number of people are not gathering. Nightclubs will be an issue but the young don't get too ill. I keep reading different views on whether to force people to be vaccinated to enter nightclubs and similar places. I have to say that I think 'I agree' to every article I read from either side of the argument. I am more forceful on vaccinating children. The risk to them is very slim but the advantage to the country is huge. I haven't yet read a coherent article which agrees with the stance of not vaccinating children. It is the only thing I agree with the teacher's unions on.

The numbers of daily tests are also dropping. I wonder how much of that is down to schools being on holiday and no longer doing regular checks on pupils?
