Cheap, hilarious, spacious, low insurance and sort of cool in an offbeat way...

Well there you go, shows how "cool" is different for all of us. My lad would probably rather walk to Aberdeen.

Ah, so you do have standards after all?

What made me think of the Qubo was a young guy of my aquaintance who is a full time MTB racer. He has one because he can get all his bike stuff in it but it's cheap to run.
Bright orange.

Ah, so you do have standards after all? 😉 No, he does. I've recommended the Qubo to my Mum in the past, but I think a Berlingo a better bet. Personally I don't much care for cars with higher ride/seating position. I had enough of that in the Touran/Galaxy days. I don't need a van or toddler transporter nor any special ground clearance.

Have just rummaged around for info on that 1.2 Renault engine. The Suzuki and FIAT are looking more appealing.

Honestly, do people actually have the first clue how to advertise a car? I expect this is a really good runabout (maybe not for a teen), but honestly, 2 pictures of it, under a covering of frost, with the battery jump starter in the picture, AND DON'T CALL ME SUE. Again. I bet the battery is dead, they couldn't get it unlocked to take any interior pictures and thought, meh. Wotevs. Sling it up. www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202101228233637I'd give them £500 for it though. Probably worth the risk, and it's that lovely shade of light blue. EDIT: hang on, wow, no sooner had I posted this critique than they've updated the photos. Spooky.

Well, if things get any worse, that would be OK as a starter car as a minicab I suppose. Hideous, but possibly worthy enough.

I just posted it for some comedy photos, but they've changed them in the advert now, so bah. They've even stopped calling everyone Sue.

That 15-year old Primera is surely only worth 500-odd quid anyway? Are they having a laugh?
Still think you’re overthinking the manual to automatic transition WdB..!

Cosmetic? It’s not usually old age that deforms a bonnet to the point where it won’t close. And, supposing it were, would you buy from the kind of owner that didn’t get it fixed?
Nice colour, though.

What do you want for £390? For a 17 year old? It's probably had an extremely minor shunt, or the latch is just knackered. Looking at the back seats it's had child seats in it so I expect it belonged to a lady who just thought enough's enough, too many niggles to sort and I fancy something newer, and traded it in. If I bought this now (I'm not going to, it's just a fun discussion I thought) I would have plenty of time to sort out what ails it before December (that's when the 17th birthday hits), hell it might even be fun. Perish the thought.
Find better, for £390, with 7 months MOT.

Not that interested. Still wouldn’t buy this.
