Nice steering wheel in that Alfa. Strikingly different pedal layout to the Aygo, though. Compare this with my Aygo picture from the other day. But the red one in Vić’s ad is gorgeous. I could even forgive it the wonky number plate. Still not sure a person with manly feet could actually drive it, but I’d give it a go.

Cruz aero bars on the Aygo WDB. Thanks. Too soon to get them just yet but Roofbox is an excellent retailer and I do want a replacement number plate holder and some wheel straps for the bike carrier, which they can do, so I can possibly combine the two orders.

Dubya, see picture 11 in this ad... Doesn't look a problem to me, the pedal thing. Hard to be sure in two dimensions but my impression is that the brake is too close laterally to the accelerator. This is the problem I’ve had in other small European cars: difficult to avoid catching the brake with my accelerator foot. But this isn’t important because I have an Aygo and it’s just fine.

Yeah I think I'm on the cusp of that problem, with my extra wide size 11s (with my limited height and low centre of gravity there's not much changce of being blown over in a breeze, before anyone else tries that one). So need a test drive to be sure...p'raps I'll have a mosey over cousin's house...

Ooh, now then. My son is very fond of his Aygo, but an Alfa...?
Not sure if I dare mention all this to him. Kind of sure I know what happens to my wallet next if I do. Although, it seems that Mitos can be bought quite reasonably I suppose.
You are very bad people.
Maybe we'll see what his results are like before I think about this any harder.
Ok, I've thought about it a bit harder, that would mean I'd get a regular shot of a little Alfa too wouldn't I?
Bad, bad people.

Blame Al... But I accept some responsibility. I'm getting very tempted..

MiTo's are not that reliable - well my neighbours wasn't when they got it new when they first came out. It was in the garage a lot for them to fix it. In the end they got rid of it.
You'd expect it to be as reliable as the Punto on which it is based.

I've read a few more reviews now.
Not wonderfully encouraging.
Pity.

You expect a 10-year old Alfa to be reliable?!
I’d go with the Aygo...

Some FIATs seem more reliable than others. The MiTo is not one of them. Nice looking small car.

Giullietas are quite affordable to buy and insure, also.
