Are you asking if I had an autoerotic experience?

I might fire up the A1 next Monday (it will have had a 4-week lay-up by then) and use it for a 24-hour overnight trip to/from the city. Otherwise it won’t be started or moved until its MOT booking on 2nd Feb..!

Can't remember the last time I drove. About to purchase a battery conditioner for the Civic. Seriously considering handing it back (the Civic) later this year depending on how things go and buying a manual banger (as per previous thread, Boy turns 17 in December).

Thinking back, the last time I was actually left stranded on a hard shoulder was when my Volvo 480ES (G589 WPD) ran out of petrol on the M25, in around 1999/2000. It had a faded digital dash, and I had not spotted the low fuel warning because of low sunlight behind me obscuring the display. Despite my recent history of elderly cars having been, let's say, maintenance heavy, none of them have ever actually failed to proceed and get me home.
