Trivial quiz alert.
1/ How well does your car fit with your normal/regular passenger numbers/luggage requirements?
Score 3 for - At all times Score 2 for - Most of the time Score 1 for - Often not
2/ How affordable is it to own and run?
Score 3 for - Don't even have to think about that. Score 2 for - It's doable but I feel it. Score 1 for - It's quite a stretch.
3/ Do you enjoy driving it?
Score 3 for - Yes absolutely. Score 2 for - It's ok, it's a car. Score 1 for - Not really.
4/ Is it reliable?
Score 3 for - Totally Score 2 for - Reasonably Score 1 for - No
5/ Would you have another, come the time?
Score 3 for - Absolutely Score 2 for - Maybe Score 1 for - No, not in this lifetime.
For what it's worth, I give my car ( for my usage and needs ) 15 out of 15.

14 / 15 for the Q2: one point dropped (on question 5) through no fault of its own, but simply that I'm thinking that a PHEV or even a pure EV is what I need next time. Otherwise it's exactly right for my needs: if there were such a thing as a Q2 PHEV it would be a very strong contender.

You can always trust the IT department ( twonks) not to answer the actual question you asked...đ

That's usually because you're not asking the right question.

OK then, the Leaf scores 14, the Civic scores 15.
Anyone care to guess where the Leaf loses a point?

Anyway, the Qashqai gets 12. Drops a point on 1, 3 and 5.

Nope. I love driving it, it's hilarious. It falls a little short on Q1, 4 of us plus luggage plus dog in its cage - struggle.

I suppose, if the minimum score is 5, and the max is 15, then thatâs a scale of 10 right?
So, for example, our Qashqai is 70% satisfactory having scored 12.

Nope. I love driving it, it's hilarious. It falls a little short on Q1, 4 of us plus luggage plus dog in its cage - struggle. Which is why most (all?) of us have an additional car with complementary capabilities. The i3 wouldnât have taken four of us, plus luggage, to North Wessex, never mind North Wales. Conversely, even if I was willing to subject the capital to its dieselly emissions, I wouldnât dare try to manoeuvre the CLS into and (especially) out of the Barbicanâs underground car park.
