We could do it all in the Leaf with a roof box (for the luggage, I suppose the kids dog can still go in the boot). And that'll take about 5 miles off its range I expect...

13 out of 15.
Not totally reliable given the rear suspension issues of last year.
Would I have another? Yes but only if my luggage needs were similar. At the moment I don't really need all the luggage capacity.
Otherwise I love it...

One of the criteria for choosing my current car was leg room (excluding room for feet under the seat) in the back and size of door opening to get into the back. All to make it easier for my father in law. It made a big difference.
But I liked the engine/gearbox combination from the A3 so went for that. Avoids the diesel BIK charge and like in 2014 I didn't want another diesel despite losing out on better MPG.
Not sure how I'd score the car. Normally no more than 2 of us in it these days and apart from a few trips away in the UK and trips to the tip, the huge boot isn't needed. But I'll miss it when I need it.
If it was in my budget to get another Superb with similar spec with the plugin drivetrain I'd have gone for that.... but not an option for me.
Like the A3 before it, it's been reliable, comfortable, plenty fast enough. In fact with adaptive dampers like the Passat before the A3 probably one of the more comfortable cars I've had. And I like the tech like the blind spot/rear cross alert, adaptive cruise, self steering.
As an out of 15 I'd give it 13.

SWMBO’s Outlander scores 13.
Hardly worth scoring the A1, it’s only been on the road for 1 day over the past 5 weeks..! Surplus to requirements these days.
