Yeah, my back. Trying to decide whether to rub the alcohol on or ingest it...or both... 🤔

Yeah, my back. Trying to decide whether to rub the alcohol on or ingest it...or both... 🤔 ...I don't recommend drinking rubbing alcohol, and the other way round would be a waste....

It's only Smirnoff, so it would adequately fulfill either purpose.

It's only Smirnoff, so it would adequately fulfill either purpose. ...in which case, there's only one way you should use it.....

I'm just working up to shovelling and wheelbarrowing 3 tons of pebbles and 2 tons of topsoil from the front drive of my in-laws house up to the bottom of their back garden. My wife's idea, bless her. Pray for my back please...😬 Jeez, in bits this morning. Can't lift my right leg, walking at a list, vodka therapy last night didn't help. Ibruprofen not touching it. Certainly can't ride my bike yet. Wish I could go for a swim. Gettng old I suppose. 😕

I suppose that's an occupational hazard of being married to a young wife is that you still have in-laws at an age when ideally you shouldn't be shovelling topsoil.
Walking with a list? Best to sit down and relax with a nice piece of music, like Liszt: To Port.

Not sure if I'm keen on the view ahead... 😳 Just keep working on the view in the rear-view mirror, ensuring it continues to look good.......

...well, the quick French trip (Ste Evenage ) went well. 2 hours mainly on cruise down a very lightly-vehicled A1; three hours with number 1 son for a socially distanced walk and picnic in the park (first time we've seen him since Christmas); then a return drive similar to the outward. Went from the sublime to the ridiculous on the way back. Overtook a quite tasty-looking red Jensen Interceptor (spotted from miles behind due to the back window) and then got overtaken by a very tatty looking Metro (doing about 90 in the outside lane - I couldn't identify it as it was approaching as the front was carrying two giant Cibiés, behind which a mere postage-stamps-area of car was visible). It got me wondering when was the last time I'd seen a Metro actually moving. Meanwhile, Al seems to be still lost in the Bermuda Triangle Périphérique.

I have been expecting some report from Al, about the efficiency of Honda's European breakdown operation.

Sure of course, I do get that, but. I was being opportunistically literal. Every time I have to go to London, it seems kind of exciting, but I'm never sorry to leave.
Know what you mean though, keep making memories and so on. Still, ever so slightly, apt to just book an imminent French run...
Either that, or recreate the key elements here. Loads of barbecues, wine, garlic sausage, weird crisps etc...
