My Apple devices can't see it either - unless it's a question mark in a blue square.

...it was something like this (which may look exactly like this if the same issue still pertains). (and the same issue doesn't pertain, which means that images from certain sources don't make it through to Android/Iphone, whilst being fine on the PC).

That one I can see. I've ridden in yellow Dacia taxis in Romania.

I was told by someone in the know (involved in making things like staplers) that yellow is an expensive colour for items. I assume it's the same for car. Something to do with the chemicals.
Yes that Dacia is very yellow.... My next car will probably be grey (again).

You won't get a response, it's chuck yourself down some hillside time. Probably hear back after an untangle muscles swim session later this week. Got to take advantage of the less bad weather season. Does anyone know anyone who's bought a yellow car? When I looked for my FIAT Coupé years ago yellow was the default (bogging) colour. I wanted red but settled for Sprint Blue in the end. Has anyone bought a flying banana? I didn't buy it, but in my later student years I was in possession of a yellow 2CV. With decals down the sides of wild horses dashing about the place, and a brown luggage rack on the back and roo bars on the front. It was a hand me down from my sister. I loved it. It was bought new from a dealer in Ascot who did a run of dealer specials, each one with individual theme/decals. Ours was called "Stampede". Irony at its finest. I know there were several others locally, but I can't recall their different stylings now. It was around the time of the "Dolly" and "Beachcomber" edition 2CVs. My mother had purchased it brand new for my sister's Christmas present, and it passed from her to me to my step father to my aunt, and it stayed with her until it was scrap about 20 years later. Wish I could have been able to save it, but it rotted away in the end. B499 GAN. *Sob*

A bit like my first car then ! A two tone green Wolseley Hornet. If you've cut your teeth on something that nerdy, you'll drive anything in later life without embarrassment!

The concept of embarrassment in this context is somewhat lost on me. Like a bloke I know who says he'd be embarrassed to be seen on a bus.
I just don't get it.

Well, perhaps that's the wrong word then. I do know what you mean, at least I think I do. I'll drive anything pretty much, but I won't deny that I prefer driving some cars over others, but more for how they feel, and what they are capable of, than the way they look. I think.

The looks of a car are only a consideration for me in so far as how much I do/don't like them, not what I think those looks might say about me in the minds of others. e.g. I still think the FIAT Regata a supremely handsome vehicle. I know most people don't share my enthusiasm, but I genuinely don't care. I heart old heaps.
I suppose I do get the concept of automotive embarrassment really, but I think I'd only feel embarrassed by driving something like an Overfinch Range Rover or a Lambo in an urban environment. I'd love to wazz a Lambo round an airfield, don't get me wrong, but I'd be mortified at driving one on the school run, as do a couple of parents at my children's school.

Yeah, I guess anyone who "likes cars" has occasionally wondered what their "money no object" or "fantasy garage" would include.
Like you, I'd love to try some interesting cars in appropriate environments, such as super cars on tracks, or off roaders off road, or convertibles in California, but for daily use, I think I've probably already got a car which is pretty close to matching my current and indeed foreseeable everyday needs and preferences.

God, I loved that car, rustbucket though it was. I'd happily have one now as long as it was a decent runner - though they don't 'alf look small, even against my Smart.

Don't they just ! I saw a Mk2 Cortina close up yesterday. They seemed quite big cars when I was a child but this one looked really small.
