Had to do a valuation of some land surrounding a house last week.
I arrived at the house to discover that
1. It was a Huf Haus; and 2. There was a Tesla X parked outside.
The house was magnificent. Mainly it was the silence, clear quality of build and the lack of draughts that impressed but also the use of space. It helped that the house was beautifully located on a downward slope with superb views. But even in an enclosed position it would still be a great home.
The Tesla (which I only looked at externally) I thought was very well designed. It was only after I saw it parked next to my E-class estate that I realized how big it was. It made the Mercedes look small. But on its own you would not have though it bigger than an Evoque. In fact I think it has seven seats.
I want them. Not because they are expensive but because they appear to offer something different and better than traditional products. For the mother who wants to ferry her darlings in a Chelsea Tractor, but doesn't actually go that far, an electric car is perfect. The house is incredibly efficient and due to the internal silence, open plan accommodation doesn't mean echoing noise.
If only I had approx £1,000,000....

Pretty rare in the North West; An exciting moment for me. It makes a change from a faux Georgian mansion some people insist on building.
