And by worst, I mean most scary or dangerous.
For me, the East or Brasil, between Teixeira de Freitas and Salvador in Bahia.
It is nothing to be on a narrow, though usually straight, road late at night and see two trucks coming towards you, one overtaking the other, with their lights off, and then to see a third swing out to try and pass both. This on a normal two lane road. The Brazilian truck drivers frequently believe that driving with the lights off saves fuel.
It is an absolute crap shoot as to whether or not you arrive at your destination. Quite a lot don't.

Holland or the UK, everything is packed in so tight some think switching lanes then indicating is the way to do things. Brussels is a bit hairy after driving in Germany, a woman pushing a pushchair onto a pedestrian crossing is no reason to stop in Brussels, similar for Milan.

India is a bit mental, traffic cones are boulders with none fluorescent white paint with traffic heading towards you in the outside because that is the route the old road took.

..probably the scariest place I have been driven is New Delhi. Absolutely manic, with no observable rules of the road, tuk-tuks cutting you up all over the place, and the odd camel or elephant proceeding down the carriageway (or, of course, the sacred cows asleep in the middle). Driving myself - well that was probably Morocco nearly 40 years ago. I have only a few indicative photos, but this was a trunk road, and it wasn't unusual to see buses such as this with a couple of donkeys and a few goats tethered on the roof - really! Guns drawn on you by police at any 'major' intersection - woe betide you if you "shot" a junction. I came away with a very healthy respect for Renault 4s, however.

Jahor Bahru to Mersing (Malaysia) on the old highway 3.
Two lane road, uphill through the jungle encroaching the sides, locals turn it into a 5 lane highway. Rickety old lorries lumbering up the hill, cars overtake through the encroaching jungle on the inside (throwing its contents everywhere (inc the animals) or along the centre/other side of the road (which is a problem because the traffic coming the other way is doing the same thing) And then the monsoon starts.......
Naples - say no more.
Dusk, in a bush fire, Western Australia red dirt road. You just dont see the big red roos
Worse bum twitching moment, Having to reverse back down the Mortirolo Pass, Italy because you didn't think the closed snow gates applied to you.

Worse road and drivers in the whole of western Europe. Its also had major road works on it ever since i first used it in 1986

Hah! talking of Renault 4s. I was out at the beach the other day for a week or so and this was dumped on a bit of my land.... ...I think the one we had in Morocco was in slightly better condition than that - though I think there is considerably more tread on the tyres in your photo. It looks a bit beyond recovery, but I would otherwise be sorely tempted - I wasn't joking about being impressed. It always felt like (due to combination of perceived flimsiness and the state of the roads) something was about to fall off, but nothing did. The ride on those roads was something else (long-travel torsion-bar suspension I suspect). Another view of the "trunk" road (and no, it isn't my VW Camper!)

Brussels ring when the traffic is slightly flowing. It's like the wacky races minus the rules. Lane 1 to 4 why not? Someone will make space. They only get pissed off when they see the camera in the front and rear screen.

Humph - you do know that you can rent dual control learner cars from Arnold Clark at near to Manchester Airport. It was (about a year ago) £14 per hour in Corsa. We only did it a couple of time (maybe three) but it made a huge difference to my stress levels and his proficiency. Son #1 passed first time. Son #2 starting to learn in June, but already has clutch control sorted by me taking him to my industrial estate on a Sunday morning...

Other worst drives include Haifa. A city on a hill with no straight roads and you lose all sense of direction... I can never find my way out of the place without getting lost in their version of Spaghetti Junction. And the drivers. Put Cairo, Rome and New York together = anywhere in Israel....
