That didn't really qualify as a "hit" as such, more of a "glance" really. A "hit" would involve, oh I don't know, a bus or something maybe? That would be a "hit".

The Bull in Sonning? Crikey, spin anything bigger than an invalid carriage there these days and you will take out several parked cars. Utterly impossible to drive past there at anything above 10mph.

Here's what shall henceforth be known as "TNE Corner": goo.gl/maps/3h7y1vFpQAR2 - well done, TNE. And here's where the Yaris tried to defile ze Staffcar last night: goo.gl/maps/djJjoduqV8M2 - he came to rest facing the wrong way where the black washing machine is.

TBH, my memory says there, and I would certainly have approached down Sonning Lane, and past The Bull, but as a (definitely remembered) right-hander, though the manoeuvre would have been possible there, the significant dog-leg nearer the bridge looks a better candidate........ (a bit more speed, and wide enough to get 9.5 for a 360 ). Stiil have distinct memories of it being The Bull, though.

Ah, there is another pub/hotel down by the bridge. I reckon it'd be a much more likely candidate for your pirouette - you can't go 'past' The Bull as it's in a dead end. Well, if you did go past it you'd end up in the churchyard.

Don't worry about it T&E, they say that things can get a little fuzzy as you get older. Doesn't necessarily mean there's anything to be concerned about. Just a natural process I gather...😋

Thistle bee the place, TNE: goo.gl/maps/q4x1y6mVEuC2You could spin a Phaeton there. Someone probably has. The pub round the corner is called Coppa Club these days. Good job the eponymous hoccifers weren't there ordering doughnuts when you performed your version outside.

managed to do a 270 degree spin under here, and didnt even touch the kerbs. Ford Capri 3 litre, wet, under pressure offside rear, 60 to 70 mph northbound, back stepped out on the first r/h bend, over corrected and spun it right in the middle of the underpass www.google.co.uk/maps/@51.523648,-0.2324015,3a,75y,358.22h,91.69t/data=!3m7!1e1!3m5!1s7YjrmDf9wqX_68ZxGVm4EA!2e0!6s%2F%2Fgeo2.ggpht.com%2Fcbk%3Fpanoid%3D7YjrmDf9wqX_68ZxGVm4EA%26output%3Dthumbnail%26cb_client%3Dmaps_sv.tactile.gps%26thumb%3D2%26w%3D203%26h%3D100%26yaw%3D19.744425%26pitch%3D0%26thumbfov%3D100!7i13312!8i6656 hmmm you'll have to cut and paste the whole thing into a browser

Hooning through The Scrubs in a Capri? Life doesn't get much more 70s than that.

>>You could spin a Phaeton there. Someone probably has.
I turned off the traction control on mine once and then gave it a bit of throttle on a damp country road.
I never did it again.
