I've a 5s, O2 keep telling me I can upgrade for next to nothing but I'm used to it, it works and is more than adequate for my needs. Just can't be bothered to change in truth. Suppose I will one day of course, but for now it's fine. Or at least, it was until recently. I stupidly ( according to my son who may well be right on this occasion ) downloaded iPhone 10 or something. It's just much harder to use now and does things I don't want it to and well, bleh ! Then the other day it started losing charge really quickly and for the last three days it's just ripped through its battery charge in no time despite no change in my usage. Goodness knows why, but that's what it did. Anyway, this morning I found this very helpful guide to preserving battery life and hey presto, having followed its advice it seems to be back to normal. Well, normal-ish anyway. It still tries to get me to voice dial when all I want to do is unlock it but at least the battery seems back to normal. All you clever IT people probably know all this stuff anyway but for a numpty like me it's proven jolly useful. Have a look, www.payetteforward.com/why-does-my-iphone-battery-die-so-fast-heres-the-real-fix/

Doesn't stop it being harder to use with things you don't want to does it.
