I fear it is horribly representative.

I'm looking forward to removing the EU veto on the invocation of The First Law of Holes. (...and yes, I do comprehend The Second Law of Holes)

I listened to that the other day (the various pro-Remain campaigns I subscribe to seized on it) and I thought Mr O'Brien came across as too full of himself, verging on bullying at times. I thought Ashley the dim Plymouth plumber did remarkably well to maintain his composure as O'Brien made fun of him for his own purposes.
I'm not sure this sort of thing really helps the cause. Yes, Leave appealed largely to the the uninformed and easily led, but once you've found one and shown him up as such, you gain nothing by humiliating him. A man of O'Brien's talents could easily have got him so say that he wasn't really getting anything in exchange for making himself and his customers worse off for five years or even longer. That - on a national scale - is what we need to get the public realisation reflected in government policy.
