Hi - thought I'd pop in and say hello.
IT person currently, soon to take early retirement, after which I will be even more of a dilettante than I am now. Interested in history, tech, tech toys, another endless list of things, and a voracious appetite for random bits about every subject under the sun. Very heaven is turning my back to the shelf in the local library, grabbing a book at random and not looking at it until home, where the rule is I MUST attempt to read it. Learn a whole bunch of stuff that way, and also am out of my depth a lot, which is usually a good place to be.
Talk too much. Can't type short sentences.

Excellent. You're very welcome. I bet, you need someone to share your battery fetish. Welcome Crankers BTW, I was hoping you would migrate.

Must say I'm slightly tempted to go for a giant battery (30kWh LEAF) next, especially as they are mahoosively discounted (which takes some of the sting out of the fat depreciation).
Would cover pretty much all the journeys I do in the Kizashi range-wise.
Long distance travel is invariably in the FRV with the rest of the gang.
Welcome CC!

Hang on for a month. There may be announcements at the Paris Motor Show. And of course, there may not be, but rumours are a-flying.

Yeah, have heard some noise about a 40-44kWh update but nothing solid.
And I don't expect a 60kWh 2018 version will be in the sub-20 grand category!
drivethedeal.com are doing Acenta 30kWh for £17.5k(non-leased battery) currently.
