Our fridge freezer packed in on Sunday morning. New one coming tomorrow. Man coming today to see if the old one can be fixed and relegated to the garage as back up food storage.
Meanwhile, we had an awful lot of steak for dinner last night, pork chops for breakfast, son has gone off to college with huge quantities of sausage rolls, sausages etc in his packed lunch, the dog has had mince twice in 24 hours and it looks like being chicken curry for lunch...
I'm going to lay down copious stocks of Gaviscon.

The only thing we get cropping in our garden is a crabapple tree, which has loads of fruit that we leave to rot. Even the birds don't touch it.
Looks pretty but I've never found anything appealing to do with crabapples, unless some genius here has a suggestion. Tried making crabapple jelly one year but it was a lot of fiddle for a tedious result we didn't do anything with.
It's just fruiting up nicely now.

I am a man of cool;
Large double fridge thing in kitchen full of ingredients. Never accessed it myself.
Large double fridge thing in breakfast room full of actual food. I only eat from this fridge. Its a boys fridge.
2 fridges in the garden; 1 full of beer the other wine. Mine.
I do have diffficulty with ingredients creeping into other fridges, I stamp on such practices when I can.

Well, the new fridge/freezer arrived about 3.00 pm apparently. But evidently it hadn't to be switched on until three hours later. Have you any idea how it is to go three days without ice? Not that we drink you understand. Much anyway...

For reasons I wont expand upon, I happened to be making a meal from the contents of someone else's fridge/freezer tonight.
The pudding was HIS - TORIC.
Tesco individual hot syrup sponge, covered in cold Rachels creamed rice.
Oh Shit! You can not imagine how bloody fantastic it was.

You're not English by any chance are you? Only us English love this sort of dessert. Everyone else has fruit or fancy stuff.

... Rachels creamed rice. We told you watching too much Countdown would get you into trouble.

I have just had a brainwave to put stilton in my lunchtime BLT, and I are most pleased with the results.

I suppose if you miss the bin with it...
Actually, I like blue cheese. Some blue cheeses, anyway. But I’d take Roquefort over Stilton eleven times out of ten.

No no no no no no no.
Not that I object to either but stilton is different gravy IMHO.
Bleu d'Auvergne is a goodie too, any other blue cheese recommendations?

There are variations on Roquefort. The Caves Baragnaudes type is lush!!

Bresse Bleu is really nice. Not too sharp and creamy as well. Hmm making me hungry...

Anyway, help settle an argument please.
Describe the taste of a banana, without using the word banana, or referencing bananas in any way...
Bet you can't !
