Went to se Billy Joel on his only UK date this year at Wembley Stadium on Saturday. Can't say much more than I was utterly blown away by the bloke's skill and energy t 67. Here's the setlist for any fans on here: www.setlist.fm/setlist/billy-joel/2016/wembley-stadium-london-england-bfc493a.html#! No doubt somebody has uploaded mobile phone footage to YouTube, but not I. I prefer to enjoy the spectacle in real life rather then through a tiny glass screen, as so many seem desperate to do these days.

The Telegraph gave it a very good write up. Glad you enjoyed it.

SEE Billy Joel, AT 67.
Can we have the edit window increased please for those of us who can't type and have precious little time to proof read?
Thanks for the tip on the Telegraph review, EIII. Hadn't seen that. I'd take issue with their assessment of 'Chainsaw' though. I thought he did 'Highway to Hell' brilliantly, and could easily step in for the AC/DC lead singer if he's ever off work sick. Really nice touch to let two of the crew have a go whilst he (Billy) rested his voice for a few minutes, instead of having a silent or instrumental interval. They were both brilliant considering they're not pro singers and both went down really well with the crowd. Although I are a bit refreshed all evening.

The feature is set to 10 minutes, sufficient we think even for those who can't type or have precious little time to proofread, however we are prepared to extend that to 15 minutes. And have now done so.

Seen BJ a few times, always been a huge fan, and have Streetlife Serenade, Turnstiles, The Stranger ,52nd Street, Glass houses, The Nylon Curtain and An Innocent Man all on vinyl. The best in car music going.

I remember travelling 1000 miles in a day in a red Toyota pickup across four Southern African countries with a BJ compilation tape for entertainment. Could happily do it again tomorrow. A much-underrated artist with that rare ability to conjure up characters and a story in the space of a couple of verses.
But tonight it's Oscar Peterson, recorded live in Cologne in - I'm struggling to believe this, so vibrant is the sound - 1961. Astonishing.

My missus says that this is the most "sexiest" song she has ever heard!

And I have seen this guy several times also. Brilliant, intimate gig and full on drunken gig!
