I'm so glad there are people who are prepared to do this sort of thing. Made me smile anyway...

It's great manufacturer can still make pretty much bespoke cars for individuals mad enough and wealthy enough to do it. Seeing the car bobbing around on gravel made me: 1. Wince at the hammering the underside is taking 2. Think of the opening credits of All creatures great and small. It's definitely of another era styling.

Yes, I just think it's delightfully preposterous. Love it. Don't want one, (well, I might want one a bit if I'm being truthful) can't begin to justify one though, but I'm glad it exists.
Long time ago, I jacked up the adjustable Spax on the Westfield and paid something to drive it through Kielder forest on the rally stage in the snow. Utterly ludicrous drive of course, but very memorable. It was more or less a sledge some of the time. No heater, so we went and got fish suppers afterwards and shoved them still wrapped and uneaten inside our jackets for a while to thaw us out.
They were still just about warm enough to eat afterwards.

You have just managed to put me off my visit to the Lomond Fish Bar at the end of next week. No mean feat, well played.

Y'know Humph, your Kielder experience has just made me realise I've never had a proper British car the type that had a heater as a tick box on the options list. The closest I've come was a Honda design wearing a Rover badge, everything else has been equipped.
That must have been some drive to find a fish n' chip shop in the Kielder area. We were there a couple of years ago at the observatory, cracking night, came away with more questions than answers. Very remote part of England, not so if you're from North of the Scottish central belt.

Think we got the chips in Jedburgh, but it's nigh on 25 years ago and I didn't write it down. 😉
