I'm not sure if I like it or not. Mainly because I don't know what it is.

Fiestas are pretty good though. Had a few as renters. Pleasant enough things.

It seems to follow me around. The colour, not the item it's named after.
Come on Humph, we've been over this many times. My first Leaf waa DCR, and I only agreed to buy it in that colour because it was so cheap. I was pleased to chagne it to the BRS coloured one I now have, although I'm starting to believe that car is cursed.

Well, I'm guessing red from the R? Not sure what the DC refers to but I'm beginning to think I may not want to know.
Anyway, red is OK isn't it? Visible anyway.

I know it's ridiculous, but I'd not want a 13 reg. Scoff away of course. But given the choice...

Scoff scoff scoff.
There are airlines (including sensible-shoes Lufthansa) that don’t have a row 13. I know!

We are coming to some kind of consensus here, and whilst I might well disappoint the boy and buy the neighbour's Fiesta as it's a known good car, he would like something Japanese, and he doesn't really like 2-box hatchbacks. To my utter surprise, he likes these: www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202102159064672I do, too. This one even comes in Humph's favourite shade of blue, henceforth to be known as HFB.

That, like the Wolseley Hornet my dad persuaded me to buy, could best be described as character building.
Horrible F(lipping) Blue?

No no no, like I said, it's Humph's Favourite Blue.
Ignoring the colour, what's wrong with that for a youngster? I'm not doing any persuading here, he told me he likes the Mazda 3 and prefers the saloon version.

Well Al - if you don't buy it I know a bloke from Manchester who very much just might. I really (I mean really) like the Mazda3 and it looks best as a three door saloon.

Fair enough I suppose. I guess in Reading and Manchester it's prudent to buy things that are highly unlikely to ever to be stolen? 😅
