2020 was a tough year for almost everyone, and tougher for some than others.
Just had a Zoom 'ring in the year' with six other couples. Looking forward to seeing them all in one room in 365 days time (and hopefully a lot sooner).
Wishing all of you the 2021 that you hoped 2020 was going to be.

Had a nice bottle of Aldi sourced Belgian beer last night. A hint of Rum from a black bottle. Hunt it out - it's worth it....

I had some Aldi BrewDog IPA brewed in Berlin over the holiday. 24 cans on a tray but I struggled through "for the cause". It was actually quite pleasant though I was confused, I thought BrewDog was an English (East Midlands) brew ?
Happy New Year everyone:

Brew Dog is Scottish as far as I know.

Yes Aberdeen is the origin of Brew Dog. It has now become, as a company, everything it claimed to stand against when it was created, I tend to avoid it myself which is easy enough as I don't really like their beer anyway. I'm a Harviestoun man when it comes to Scottish brews.
