...and, from what I've been led to believe anyway, you could park that in Reading without fear of being seen as too Mrs Bucket. 😉

...or worrying that it might not be there when you returned.
(Might still be on fire, though.)

The humble Kia Sportage has been removed from sale in these parts. Demand is strong, coupled with factory supply issues, so Kia have taken the car off their website and don’t want to take any more orders until the new model arrives in 2022!
Big winner? Mitsubishi. ASX’s and Outlanders flying out the door...

Could also be a bit of chip stock management by KIA. Prioritising chips to lower emmision vehicles in markets where penalties are applied and meeting customer specific orders rather than pile 'em high sell 'em cheap.

Yep, the chip situation is certainly exacerbating things.
Total new car stocks in-country here are at a quarter of their usual levels, whilst demand is now higher than pre-Covid levels. Probably not the best time to be looking for a bargain.

3-4 month’s wait for most new Toyotas now. And around 6 months for the Rav4 hybrid..!
I foresee the scenario of too much money chasing too few goods for sale... inflation anyone?!

You could always try an i3. Ordered ours 7 April, took delivery 17 May — 40 days that could have been 36 if I’d been ready to collect before the weekend. 🤠
