Thought I’d purchase something to give the cars’ leather steering wheels a bit of a clean. Hopped on to the Internet and researched a couple of well-known brands of car detailing/cleaning products. Found something I trusted, all good, delivered promptly. It comes in a spray-on aerosol/vaporiser bottle. Apart from the pungent chemically smell, it’s apparently poisonous if inhaled or swallowed! Wtf? Not very impressed. Wonder if car valeters have reduced life expectancy?
And it hasn’t changed the texture of the steering wheel either. Just made it slippier and more shiny. Grr. Expected much better from an apparently well-lauded brand 😟.
Anyone got any recommendations for my next attempt?

Me, I suppose (although I'm happier using soap and water inside the house than in the car.)

Am giving the supplier of the leather cleaner a second chance... just purchased a plastic cleaner/restorer from them (mainly for the black plastic inserts, wheel arches etc). Will crack it open at the weekend...
Do people in the UK ever use the Ali Baba/Ali Express website? I’m finding all sorts of weird and wonderful car accessories on there...!

It’s here but not dominant as it is elsewhere. I can see more people resorting to it now that the Continent is isolated. 🙄
