Yes if she is here to care for her daughter given that our daughter is at school, I am at work and our son is studying (Uni).
Anyway, operation was 80% successful with the remaining 20% to be completed on Monday I hope. Something to do with the skin not good enough to take more surgery on one side of the foot... So she has a few more days in hospital...

It took another eight days but the second operation took place on Friday and she came home yesterday. Now in a cast for six weeks...

I've done my back in putting my socks on this morning. I had heard of that happening to old people but never thought it would happen to me quite yet.

Not sure who the weeks will fly by for! Although I have daughter at home (self-isolating) and son who can help - and they are very good at hoovering. This weekend is Passover so son #1 and mother-in-law coming, so will have lots of help and I can relax - been very busy these last few weeks.
With pools being shut my flexibility has declined and stomach has grown. So no surprise you have done your back Humph - I know you like your regular swim. Looking forward to getting back in the pool...

Had a lucky escape myself on Sunday afternoon... my wife has a load of juvenile palm trees in pots, and she uses bamboo cane stakes to help them grow upright. I carried one, and in the process of bending over to put it down the stake of the adjacent plant went straight through my left eye... That was my Sunday afternoon scuppered. Miraculously there’s no long-term damage apparent (as far as I can see 🥺).
