It'll be a big hatchback about the same time Ferrari start selling diesels.

But Bentley is merely a VW Group brand. All they do in Crewe is the leather stitching, wood veneer work and assemble the rest of the cars. And tha't an SUV Al but why not want one.

So nothing like the England cricket team then. What do you think you know about that?

So nothing like the England cricket team then. What do you think you know about that? That it's stuffed with Cascarinoesque foreigners and those in glass houses shouldn't throw mineral projectiles. But it's OK, I approve really, being a plastic Jock/Malteser myself.

Who do you have in mind? The ones I’m aware of have made the UK their home from an early age. Or have you reverted to ukip-voting type and decided those who’ve chosen to live here are not British enough to count? 🤔

It reminds me of the very intelligent Ukrainian lady interviewed by Radio 4 about being English. She was mid 30s, had married an Englishman 15 years earlier, had two boys and taught in the local school in the Midlands. Apart from her accent, she was an English rose.
So she was asked who she would support if England played Ukraine in the world cup... Ukraine of course! But why, when you have become so English would you support a foreign country? Ah! As an English person, I always support the underdog....

Clever answer.
Serbia v Scotland in the Euro 2020 play offs soon. Will be fun chez nous. With Fulham's heroic centre forward playing for Serbia. What a tangled web we weave.

I just dropped the Civic off for its annual service (pretty pointless after only 3k miles, but there we go) and walked home past the Alfa/FIAT/Jeep/Hyundai dealer. 2 big hatchbacks on the forecourt, one with a £62,000 price tag. I went a bit dizzy. Also a nice black Tipo "Street" Saloon, unregistered. Scha-wing. Somebody's buying them. Still only ever seen one on the road in this country, but saw a few in France this summer.

What's a service cost for an Alfa SUV ? I'm guessing you'll not get much change, if any, out of 400 notes at a main dealer for an oil change, filters, fluid checks and kick the tyres.
Wonder if they'll wash the car ? Volvo don't if you tarnish their forecourt with something 9 years old.

They went on washing mine. It was 12 the last time they saw it. Different country, of course.

If I had taken my Merc back to dealers for its nine year service, the additional cost over the independent would have covered such items as a mini valet, new battery in fob and screen wash. Not worth the extra 100 quid but I would have got a clean car back.
