No, it's just a big hatchback. Not even slightly sitty-up. Phew. Glad that's agreed. Because I'm going to need to get one of these in about 3 years time. www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202009123662958*thud* Obviously, I'd prefer a Giulia estate. Obviously. But a big hatch will do I suppose.

Lots of pasta sauce, running down your chin....
Thats as much a hatchback as Tony Cascarino was Irish....

I'd rather a Giulia saloon really, but dog. So big hatchbacks work there.

"That's as much a hatchback as Tony Cascarino was Irish...."
To be sure, that's just a cosmopolitan-sounding pen-name for that fine fellow Tony O'Cascarin from County Kerry. Does all his shopping at O'Tesc's.
Actually, wasn't that one of the reasons for Jack Charlton's success? If your granny took a day-trip to Cork in 1949, you could play football for Ireland.

Exactly. Jack's best job as Ireland manager was as a genealogist....

Big, tall, SUV like hatchback. In fact, on Alfa's own website it's "the SUV according to Alfa Romeo"
Look, it's ok, you've just arrived screaming into the 21st century...

No no no no no. When Alfa say SUV they mean Smallish Useful (big hatchback) Vehicle.

Actually in all seriousness, maybe this really is the first time the phrase Sports Utility Vehicle has actually been applicable, in that this genuinely has sports car performance. Unlike a Land Rover Discovery diesel.

Right, back to comforting denial mode. Big hatchback.
