LL02 VCY, if anyone sees it. I'm now going to carry the key around with me in case I see him again. Any suggestions what to do with it? If you can be bothered and do find out where the car is parked at night wait until Hallowe'en and set the alarm off at varying intervals. Flash the lights when the car has been reset as the owner walks away, when they walk back towards the car have it lock and unlock randomly. Really freaks some people out. Good to see Hofmeister back after hopefully successful treatment and best wishes to Al and your wife for a clean bill of health for years to come. Having a car which responds immediately to your input is beyond words. Can't say there was anything particularly memorable about 2019 for me. Usual business trips involving busy airports and nine hour flights. Business class is very nice, for which I am extremely grateful, but it's still not a bed and with some airlines can feel like sleeping in a coffin.

But, a long time ago, I discovered the self help of regular excercise. Try to swim 1000m most nights and get up a hill or two on the bike at weekends. Stay off the booze unless it really is a special occasion, and try to eat sensibly ( most of the time ) No idea if any of this helps, but I do know that if I don't live like that for a few days, I get tired, grumpy and listless. Very true. I don't do enough exercise but I do enough to know that a few lengths and a few walks in the country followed by a decent coffee make all the difference to the mental health. If nothing else, a good walk with someone you can have a long chat with really helps get things in perspective. Yes 2019 was an interesting year and hopefully 2020 will be better for everyone. It will be interesting at least!

Highlights for me in 2019 centre around it being a peaceful and largely uneventful year! We undertook a Grand Designs-type mammoth house build in 2016-18 so 2019 was great insofar as all the upheaval was finally behind us! Sometimes boring is relaxing!
