So if you wanted a small, slightly funky and cheap car to advertise your estate agency business what would you choose? I am thinking Twingo? Local shysters here have spangly liveried Minis, the reputable outfit have black Vauxhall Corsas with subtle decals.
I'd get Dacia Sanderos, these are proper sized cars with room in the back for clients, and don't scream "we're charging you too much commission" either.

Interesting idea... might work..
Have the i10 in the local Hyundai dealers. £199 for a full service, £35 for the MoT, need new wipers. Not too bad really for last minute. My local indy garage was full today for MoTs and I wanted the car fully checked over by Hyundai trained monkeys; I mean mechanics.
Don't want a law suit if something goes wrong.

What about those who don't mind paying a bit extra to be looked after? Give it another 15 years, the young Als may have flown the coup leaving you and Mrs Al some spare change to indulge yourselves. Not necessarily with some gel haired yoof ragging an electric powered hatchback around.

Confucius he say, Broke in Plunto most rikery not insured. There's certainly a bit of a smell to it, but the car is on MID as insured, and is taxed and MOT'd. It may be that he is not an insured driver, or he has a whopping excess or something (or cloned plates ;-) ). Whatever, he accepted responsibility, subsequently documented by eMail with an offer to pay (against the quote) £300 hit the lad's bank a/c today, and the car should be ready tomorrow morning. Let's hope the local chop shop are as good as their reputation. It's been declared for notification only to the lad's insurance, taking a chance on honesty not causing too much of a future issue, and protecting against a counter claim. They will now be informed of the full recovery - not that they'll be very interested.
