Looks like a great choice. 3-litre straight-six I presume. The M Sport equipment is I imagine mainly cosmetic: going for the SE and adding the options you actually want seems to make a lot of sense.

Congratulations ! Now you've just got 12 or 13 weeks to kill.
Got any trains to chase, dog shows to train for or 5* staircases to examine at close quarters ?

Yup 3 litre in line 6 banger. M Sport stuff is mostly cosmetic, but you are forced into silly thin wheels, so no thanks. Se+options comes out at about same as M Sport, and its still not got stuff i want. The sports seats with the M package are not a patch on comfort seats. |

Yes trains to chase, yes dog shows to train for, plan on avoiding suspect staircases. Got a weeks holiday in Devon booked in September would have been nice to have the Beemer but would be nervous of new car in narrow Devon Lanes. |

Vitamin D. Good for you y'know. And, just how tall do you have to be to hit your head on the roof of a normal car? I'm 6' 0" in my socks and have loads of headroom. It's bad for you to sit in an air conditioned environment for hours on end. Fresh air and open sky above you is much better.

I wonder if it's a Scottish thing. The sun to them is a mysterious, seldom-seen god. When it manifests itself, to let it out of one's sight for even a moment would be tantamount to blasphemy.
