Given his habit of tilting at buses, and his alter ego elsewhere, I'd go for Prince Ludwig the Indestructible............ Ein, Zwei, Ein, Zwei..... Bus-zerstörer

As for new screen name, I shall be perusing Wagner I think. ....not entirely sure that Brünnhilde suits you, but hey, we're broad-minded on here.......

Not been on it for four weeks to even begin to risk being inadvertently off it. I've just completed my 14th consecutive day at/on/in work which followed immediately on from my holiday in Turkey. Holidays are a costly business both in terms of, well, cost, and the amount of work catchy uppy you have to do when you get back.
Anyway, looks like a good choice NB. Sounds very very nice indeed, and we'll not go on about it if you choose one of the wrong ( wishy washy ) colours. 😉

Rechtsschutzversicherungsgesellschaften would cover those London bus moments 😋
One of the longest German words in everyday use too.

....he could abandon Wagner in favour of Goethe..........
........"Faust" would be eminently suitable........

Quick turn around for such a common car it seems. I ordered a Skoda Superb at the start of July and the build week that came back today is week 44! I feel sorry for the quaking ducks. They will be quacking with no end to it.

My order won't go in until the end of the year looking at next year to get my car. Order book is very healthy at the moment. I'm happy about that as it means I'll get a 2018 model year hopefully with the new 10 speed box.

10 gears? Blimey. Seems a lot. Not that I'm in any position to have an informed view.

Righto,
Back on trend. Drive the deal have come back with a 21% discount on my chosen config* Carwow have so far sent me two quotes both from Cooper BMW (different branches) with a 19% discount (about 800 quid) difference. Both using the PCP option which attracts the best manufacturer funded discount contribution. (cash purchase attracts an 11% discount)
Have an appointment with my friendly dealer salesman who I have been grooming these past two months (getting my goldie to slobber over his trousers mainly) next Monday where hopeful deposit will change hands for a car around the 20% discount mark.
BMW seem very keen to offload cars at the moment, offering free metallic paint, and hefty discounts.
*I have added adaptive dampers at the last minute, as all road tests seem to indicate this is a very desirable option.

Ooo, free metallic paint. You can afford the brown, then.
